Adding Pizazz enhancing Plumeria LipSense

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

I was pretty shocked when I saw how beautiful this long lasting lip color combination was today.  It is amazing what you get when you combine Plumeria LipSense and Sugar Pum LipSense.  Since we are in winter, we need to brighten things up a bit.  It is freezing here in NY.  A hot pink lip color is the solution.  This sizzling new LipSense color is definately a keeper! Celebrities wearing red LipSense

Monday, July 14th, 2008

This is somewhat old news but worth repeating.  Big news for SeneGence and LipSense was a mention in People Magazine in the March 14th issue.  Christina Aguilera loves the Blu-Red and Cranberry LipSense with the Glossy gloss on top.

The reason that I am bringing it up is because many customers aren’t sure which red LipSense to purchase.  If a pop icon wears these colors, it can give you an idea of what the shades look like.  So let’s talk about what sells.  When I look at my nearly 7 years as a SeneGence distributor, the most popular red LipSense is Blu-Red LipSense.

I would describe Blu-Red as a “fire engine red” color.  This red color is very popular with blondes but second would be the less brilliant Cranberry LipSense color.  I am a brunette and I wear all of our LipSense colors but when I want my lips to really stand out, I wear Blu-Red.

On Sunday, I sang Alice Ford in Falstaff.  I wore the Currant LipSense as a base coat and the Blu-Red LipSense on top.  It makes an excellent combination.  It is so amazing to have lip color that you don’t have to worry about.  I checked my lips at Intermission and I didn’t even need a touch up.

Difference LipSense versus Permanent Lipstick

Sunday, July 13th, 2008

Recently I received a phone call from a new customer asking me if I sell permanent lipstick and I told her that I didn’t.  When I started my business and incorporated the SeneGence products, I went to the Internet and searched for “Permanent Lipstick”.  At that time there weren’t very many distributors and I wasn’t able to find LipSense.

Since my cousin is the person who introduced me to LipSense I called her on the phone and asked her for the spelling of LipSense.  It took me quite a while to find someone using that term as well.

Back then, if I were to describe LipSense, I would have said it was permanent lipstick.  However, after further education, the only “real” permanent lipstick is a tattoo.  That being said, I am pretty happy that I can apply my LipSense in the morning and I am good to go all day.  I can also take it off and change the color whenever I want to.  With a tattoo, you are pretty much stuck with it for the rest of your life.

The other thing I don’t like about tattoo’s is that they fade.  With LipSense you can be assured that your lip color won’t fade until you take it off.  It is true that LipSense will wear off during the day but it is very easy to touch up and much less expensive than tattooing.

One more thing… Tattooing is painful.  Your lips are very sensitive.  Can you imagine those needles going into your lips inserting pigment?  I bet it takes a while to recover from that experience.

If you are thinking about tattooing, try LipSense first.  There are two reasons: first, you can select a color that you like and second, you can wear that color so that you can see it in the morning.  After you wear it and see it in the morning, then you can decide if you like the way you look with that lip color day in and day out.  If you do, then go ahead and tattoo your lips with that color.

That is just the way I feel about it.
